Livia Schneider is een Duits-Namibische schilder, installatiekunstenaar en multidisciplinair kunstenaar die zich voornamelijk bezighoudt met schilderkunst, grafiek, sculptuur en immersieve installaties. Haar praktijk is gevormd door haar formele kunstopleiding in Kaapstad en haar levendige multiculturele ervaringen in Berlijn. Ze gebruikt intuïtieve, procesgerichte technieken in organische vormen en participatieve structuren, waarmee ze omgevingen creëert waarin materialiteit, herhaling en tastbaarheid uitnodigen tot introspectie en reflectie. Haar kunstwerken roepen diepe gevoelens van verbondenheid, heling en collectieve verantwoordelijkheid op en moedigen kijkers aan om kunst te ervaren als een transformerende, gemeenschappelijke en contemplatieve reis.
