ÔDEWA

Ôdewa is a contemporary artist based between Brussels and Kinshasa. Through painting, photography, installation and performance, she explores the links between beings, places and cultures.

Her work is built up through layers of acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, pigments and mixed media. She creates organic forms and abstract landscapes evoking sensitive cartographies, mineral reliefs and inner territories.

Between the spontaneity of gesture and the mastery of composition, Ôdewa develops a body of work where matter, light, and emotion engage in dialogue. His creations invite a sensory experience, revealing the invisible traces that shape individuals and spaces.
