« As an artist, I continuously challenge myself to envision the world that does not yet exist, but that absolutely must. »
Abdi Farah is an award-winning artist based in the United States whose paintings have been featured in several solo and group exhibitions nationally. He describes all of his works as pertaining to people, identity, and the body. More specifically, Farah is fascinated by the manner in which individuals navigate larger systems both political and economic, and the effect those systems have on the individual. His most recent works employ American football as a microcosm to explore larger issues.
