Adonis Antoniou

Adonis Antoniou is a Cypriot-Syrian artist based in Barcelona, working across abstract painting, photography, and conceptual installations, with a Fine Arts degree from the University of Barcelona. He uses an intuitive, experimental approach—layering colour, gesture, texture, and light—allowing each piece to evolve organically without a fixed outcome, often blurring boundaries between painting and photography. His works channel deeply personal and collective emotions, inviting viewers to encounter raw vulnerability, reflection, and connection beyond words, encouraging each to find their own meaning within his evocative, open-ended spaces.
