Aissa Santiso

Aissa Santiso is an exciting Cuban painter who has exhibited her work in Spain, Cuba and the US. Partly driven by studies on personal and collective memory, she investigates and represents everyday situations, as well as their recorded forms: family photographs, film archives, books. Formed by a combination of screen printing and oil painting, her works propose engaging elements of collage, colour and iconography.
