Ala Solovjova

Ala Solovjova is a self-taught painter from Belarusian Polesia, now based in Vilnius, who works primarily with watercolor and acrylic. She masterfully combines illustrative surrealism with nature-inspired symbolism, using soft glazing, wet-on-wet gradients, fine splatters, and intricate acrylic linework to evoke dreamy, symbolic imagery. Her art overflows with delicate detail and harmonious colors, creating compositions that feel both ethereal and grounded. Through her evocative worlds of flora, myth, and dreamscapes, she invites viewers into quiet wonder and introspection, gently reconnecting them with nature’s mystery and the profound cycles of life and death.
