An adventurous artist, Alain Ernoult has made the extreme his daily life. A former war correspondent, he has covered numerous conflicts. Today, as a conduit for emotions, he reminds us that nature, like humanity, is a treasure to be protected.
His powerful and committed images have reached more than 600 million people through publications in major international media outlets: Stern (Germany), Life, Time, National Geographic, The New York Times (United States), El Pais (Spain)…
They have earned him more than 100 awards, including the first prize in the World Press Photo competition and the World Nature Photography Award in 2023.
Exhibited all over the world, notably at the Palais de Tokyo (France), the UN headquarters in New York (USA), the Gyeonggi Provincial Museum (Korea), Shanghai Art (China), the Maison Européenne de La Photographie (France), the Rencontres d'Arles (France), during COP 15 in Canada…, her works are part of private collections.
