« I seek to express the essential, the animated, alive for the other. »
Albane Roux is an artist based in France whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in Tunisia. She describes her gestural and lyrical abstract works as interior visions and landscapes of the living. For Roux, painting is a trace of the permanent movement of the form, of the formless, as well as visible and invisible worlds. Her distinctive pieces are created using oils, wax, pigments, and sand on canvas.
