Alberto Facca

Alberto Facca, a Venetian sculptor, works primarily with wood collected on the beaches of the lagoon, guided by memory and the transformation wrought by time. He uses minimal intervention, respecting the history of the materials and enhancing their natural textures, sometimes adding light to evoke the four elements. His works convey an intense vital force and poetically express human resilience in the face of wounds and the constant changes of life.
