Alessandro Pinto is the direct heir of Italian painter and master glassmaker Francesco Dalena (1900–1973), trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence under Felice Carena and Galileo Chini.
Dalena worked with the renowned Quentin manufactory, creating stained-glass windows for churches and institutions in Florence, Assisi, Parma, Piacenza, Putignano, Philadelphia, and Alexandria (Egypt).
He later taught Art History in Trieste, while continuing to paint prolifically. His vast body of work includes watercolors on paper—mostly unpublished—depicting Italian landscapes, village scenes, floral studies, and still lifes.
These original pieces, now preserved by his family, reflect a refined classical style and deep poetic sensibility.
Alessandro presents a curated selection for collectors and lovers of 20th-century Italian art.
