« I always treat my works as my children. Therefore, my main rule is to never make a picture just to sell- do it for yourself, and picture will be in demand. »
Alexander Mak is a prizewinning artist based in the United States whose works have been featured in exhibitions internationally. After being born and raised in Ukraine, he eventually came to the US and continued his art practice, influenced by artists like Gustav Klimt, Alphonse Muha, and Amadeo Modigliani. Working in both digital and traditional collage, Mak reimagines familiar faces and architecture to create new perspectives.
