Alexandru Raevschi’s life as an artist began after an accident left him in a semi-paralysed state for a month and a half. His art has been widely exhibited throughout Europe, Russia, and Brazil, with works also featured in numerous museum’s permanent collections. Raevschi’s art explores themes surrounding memory trauma, the politics of invisibility, and the questions surrounding human interaction in the realm of the political. He creates using the mediums of “artistic action”, painting, sculpture, sound and photo-video installations.
