« Art is a spotlight that illuminates the vices of a person. »
Alexey Spirin is an award-winning artist based in Russia whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. Having had the "creative itch" since his childhood, he believes that an artist is a person who has the intrinsic need to realize his/her creative concepts. Principally inspired by mysticism and Greek Mythology, Spirin's distinctive surrealistic pieces are most often created with oils on canvas.
