Alice Brickner endeavors to capture the 'bounce and movement of light' in her works. The American painter, who has widely exhibited on a national level, never thought about becoming an artist, she just 'was' and 'is'. Brickner's compositions are primarily created using watercolors on paper. She often cuts up her pieces and rearranges them into strips or mosaics.
