« Painting is a sensual tactile pursuit and allows me to invent and express a wide range of experiences in an authentic and immediate way. »
Amadea Bailey is a German artist who has exhibited her pieces in the United States, where she currently resides. An expressionist painter, she finds her images through the process of painting. For Bailey, each piece is a new adventure of exploration and discovery, never knowing how it will turn out. She works using oils, mixed media, collage, and drawing.
