"Art changes the atmosphere in a room. It can harmonize, activate, bring the interior together... The fact is: art works. My goal is to achieve this with my pictures."
For me there is not just one recurring style of painting.
It is certainly due to my enthusiasm for experimenting with different materials, in ever new worlds of colours and shapes.
But the main reason: I love harmoniously designed, individual spaces. Spaces that emphasize people's uniqueness. Spaces that enrich life.
An elementary design tool for this is images.
I paint mostly abstractly – but within this style the pictures are very different. Sometimes they are multi-coloured, sometimes more monochrome, sometimes very minimalistic, sometimes rich in detail, sometimes made with very different materials, sometimes just with acrylic. I use various surfaces such as canvas or wooden painting boards.
