« We all face uncertainties on a daily basis. They are a significant part of being human, as is the way we deal with them. My works draw in the viewer and provide space for their needs, fears and longings. »
Andreas Claussen is a passionate German painter who has exhibited his work both in Germany and in the US. His work is centered on the inherent uncertainty of the human experience, and he predominately composes seascape paintings that showcase rapid brushstrokes and captured moments reminiscent of Impressionism. Claussen ultimately seeks for his paintings to appear active and mystical, full of movement and emotion.
