« I really like when art comes un-spectacularly around the corner. So its power only develops gradually through the viewer's consideration. »
Andreas Wolf is an experienced German artist with international exposure. Each of his paintings is created by layering oil, acrylic and spray paint on canvas over a period of about six to twelve months. Wolf's paintings are neither titled nor based on some hidden concept. Rather, the artist starts each new work with a single point or line on the blank canvas and responds to this mark, intuitively building upon it. This process continues until Wolf feels that every single element of the picture is interacting.
