Andrés Aguirre, a sculptor with a background in architecture, uses wood, metal, painting, printmaking, and photography to channel his artistic vision. His technique is characterized by detailed carving and construction, alternating between constructivist styles of organic forms in metal and abstractions inspired by nature and primitive art in wood. His works explore the psychology of the face and the relationship between light and shadow, conveying authenticity and evoking a profound connection with nature and the artistic heritage of the 20th century.
