Andres Koort is an Estonian artist whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United Kingdom, Sweden, and the United States. His art explores the energy around us and its transformation through largely non-figurative work. Koort's compositions translate the beauty of impermanence and imperfection, peace of mind through natural simplicity, and "rust-sadness" or wabi-sabi in Japanese aesthetics.
