Andrew Mirzoian's works blends realism with the abstract. Achieving the balance between the two allows him to explore new dimensions and perspectives of form. The Russian painter intertwines the extremes of love and hate; power and weakness; tenderness and roughness; honesty and deceit. Mirzoian begins his creative process with sketches, aligning and polishing the shape before ridding the piece of any excessive details. He paints using acrylics and oils.
