Antonio Massarutto

Antonio Massarutto is an Italian sculptor whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally, as well as in Germany and the United States. His works always depict the animal world, which he describes as "psychological portraits". Massarutto endeavors to go further than simple representation, and embody his pieces with a "precise identity". He most often employs recycled materials in his artistic process, which includes iron, chicken nets, plastic, and fabrics.
