Specialized in painting, Arie Munnik excels in capturing people and cityscapes with apotheosized, colorful palettes and transformative nods to the abstract. Munnik's impeccably unorthodox approach employs oft-ignored perspectives, inordinate finger counts, and strident colors, eliciting fervor and joy in viewers. Vivacious and therapeutic, his works, formed partly from everyday inspirations, shed radiance even on cast-offs, rendering the mundane utterly extraordinary.
