Ashley Bickerton

Ashley Bickerton, a Barbadian-born American contemporary artist, deftly wielded his talents in painting and photography, often mingling them with industrial materials in his mixed-media masterpieces. His signature approach entwined elements of Neo-Geo—vivid, complex, and thought-provoking—to create a style that interrogated consumerism and society's constructs. Through his works, he elicited a visceral response, compelling viewers to confront the bewildering beauty and chaos of modern life.
