Astley Maberly

My name is William Astley Maberly , and I am an African wildlife artist, photographer and conservationist based in Zimbabwe and Southern Africa I would like to introduce my work, which focuses on capturing the beauty and fragility of Africa’s wildlife through painting.
Each of my pieces is inspired by time spent in the bush, photographing and studying and sketching wild animals in their natural habitat. My mission is to inspire collectors to appreciate and protect these magnificent creatures and the ecosystems they call home.
I would be honoured to discuss my paintings with you, passing on the stories behind the scenes and the inspiration behind them, my intention is also to raise awareness of African wildlife conservation.
