« I'm an existential artist, who has learned to paint in order to provide for myself and my Cuban family. Nevertheless, it has intoxicated my soul to the point where I can barely "come down to earth", after a day spent painting. »
Barbara Padron Hernandez is a passionate Cuban artist who has quickly established herself as an emerging talent. As much as art is a state of mind for her, she also considers it to be a quiet place where she can just be, without any boundaries or rules. Influenced by impressionism, realism and baroque and romantic arts, she paints with acrylic and oil to compose sensitive, richly detailed portrayals of love and heartbreak.
