Barbara Petit is a French artist whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Japan and China. Believing that painting has no other end than itself, she describes her art as an expression of the joy of life, the happiness of existence, and the beauty of the world.
Petit's 'joie de vivre' is translated through landscapes, still lifes, and portraits. She finds that every subject provides a pre-text for self-expression and the harmony of colors.
