Barry Andrews endeavors to convey beauty from squalid coastlines and landscapes. He feels that while most people do not live in beautiful surroundings, but what they have must be respected and preserved. Andrews hopes the viewer will see the world as a better place in which to exist. All his compositions are created using oils on canvas, which he stretches, sizes, and primes himself.
