Beate Gebauer

Beate Gebauer is a painter who works primarily with acrylics and watercolours, coming back to art after years away, now painting near Berlin with continual exploration and formal training. She uses experimental mixed-media techniques, layering transparent washes with textures like marble dust, wax, or iron, and shifts fluidly between realism and abstraction. Her work is passionate about nature’s wonders—especially trees, water, and autumn light—and seeks to evoke moments of awe, inviting the viewer to pause and step “into the light.”
