« For me, the act of painting means playing with colors, their diversity, their possibilities and contrasts. Emotionally, I move in an unexplored, living and aesthetic space. »
Born in 1989, Beatrice Richter is a student at the Düsseldorf Art Academy and dedicates herself to abstract painting on paper. Setting herself apart from common naïve or conceptual painterly extremes, the artist develops a modern style of painting that is focused on the beauty of the pictorial medium.
