Bernadette Schroeger

Bernadette Schroeger utilizes painting, printmaking, and installations, drawing on her training in spatial design and graphic design, as well as her extensive experience in Berlin. She works with simple, archaic forms and deliberately employs stark layers, transparency, and translucent textures to visualize temporal processes. Her works captivate through an intense engagement with color and abstracted forms. She aims to evoke a concentrated, almost meditative calm in the viewer, as well as a profound exploration of reduction and essentiality.
