« Art saves us from a reality that kills. »
Bernard Gout is an artist based in France whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in Belgium. His artistic practice is marked by the hope of discovering the pleasure of creating. Gout describes his distinctive style as a figuration recomposed by his desire to divert reality. He begins each piece by sketching with chalk and acrylics, finishing with oils and glaze.
