Brigitte Thonhauser-Merk is an award-winning artist based in Austria whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in France, Israel, and the United States. Her compositions depict striking landscapes, exotic animals, and explore relationships and movement through cubism, kineticism, and abstraction. Thonhauser-Merk endeavors to create pieces that offer themselves as an "oasis of calm for the eye" of the viewer, for whom deeper meaning unfolds, somewhere between reality and fantasy.
