Brubey Hu is an award-winning artist based in Canada whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States and China. Her work explores architectural space, color theory, memory, feminism, and translation through the lens of duality both visually and conceptually. In her artistic process, Hu often combines multiple panels to activate the "space in between", as the shapes extend from the front of the paintings to the sides, which creates colored reflections.
