The themes in Bruno Altmayer’s paintings have always centered around nature and man’s place within it. The award-winning painter finds motivation from ecology and humanism. Altmayer’s works are philosophical and speak of a global vision, while also containing symbolic, literary, and cinematographic references. His preferred technique is oil ‘all prima’ in two layers, combining transparencies with a minimal amount of glaze.
