« I describe my painting as a work that will never be finished because I often come back to it step by step, layer by layer. »
Célestin Messaggio is an artist based in France whose desire to become an artist manifested itself in early childhood. Through his artistic practice, he expresses himself via his distinctive cityscapes. Creating mainly with oils and acrylics on linen, Messaggio's central technique involves successive scrapings in order to "catch a glimpse" of what he has seen.
