Can Kumru

Born to creative parents, Can Kumru employ mediums like his high end camera, pencil, water, acrylic or oil based paint. He adeptly shapes his work through his own perception of reality through the use of distorted reality or completely different abstract art pieces like his non linear splashes and splatters series. His self refined technique is used to express his emotions which is leading when creating his art or taking his pictures. His style is either (semi)abstract, conceptual, and/or expressionistic using fauvism elements as well in his paintings in which the colors and hues used or perceived represent his emotions he felt during the creation of his art. In his pictures you see daily life where reality can be distorted linked to his emotions felt at that point in time He impeccably captures his own surrounding world, using a spectrum of hues which fluctuate with his moods. In essence, his art is an emotional landscape, vividly articulating his transient feelings.
