French artist Captain Co has shown work throughout France and Morocco. Captain Co re-imagines figurative and academic art through a contemporary lens. He employs acrylic paint onto large canvases using brushes and knives, and often finishes with elements of gold leafing. Captain Co's reinterpretations of classic paintings with elements of pop art place his work at the crossroads of the old and the new, the subdued and the unleashed.
