Carmel Louise is a Melbourne-born visual artist and photographer with a BA in fine art photography, drawing on her background in science and ceramics to push the boundaries of digital and physical photographic techniques. She employs an innovative, rule-based “DeConstructed Photography” process, involving both digital manipulation and disruption of the print surface, to transform everyday urban scenes into richly layered, unexpected compositions inspired by futurism. Her artworks exuberantly capture the emotion and vibrancy of the evolving cityscape, inviting viewers to stop, look, and contemplate the dynamic complexities of modern life.
