« Drawing is a form of meditation for me »
Carne Griffiths, originally from Liverpool, graduated from the Kent Institute of Art and Design in Maidstone. After completing a fellowship for one year, he worked at the longest-established gold wire embroidery firm in the world. His designs were used for the uniforms in films most notably his ‘Red Death Coat’ which appeared in The Phantom of the Opera. From here, he was inspired to pursue a career as a full time artist.
