Catherine Aznar’s creative process starts from the observation that reality contains a hidden dimension by exploring invisible structures matter, giving ‘spatial dimension to color’. Her work questions reality through abstract form and expression, awakening the imagination and activating the visionary faculties of the viewer. The award-winning artist uses the photographic medium, diverting it for pictorial purposes. Working on surfaces that include plexiglass and aluminum, the colors and materials play with the reflection of light and transparency.
