« My prime motivation for painting is quite simply the actual mental and physical process of creating an image. »

Catherine Denvir is an artist based in the United Kingdom whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Italy and the United States. As she divides her time between London and Tuscany, the contrast between the city and the countryside feeds her imagination with varying themes and concepts. Denvir's artistic process begins with many preliminary drawings, watercolors, and digital studies, resulting in the final image being painted with oils onto canvas.
