Charlotte is a self-taught painter, briefly trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels, whose pictorial practice is part of an intuitive search for material and gesture.
Her work explores the expressive potential of abstraction, not as an escape from reality, but as a space of sensory resonance. Through the superposition of pictorial layers and the alternation of impulsive and controlled gestures, she questions the density of the visible and the porosity between intention and accident.

Using brushes and spatulas as extensions of the body, she shapes surfaces where smooth textures and roughness coexist, revealing a fertile tension between control and letting go. Her works do not seek to illustrate but to embody: they offer an affective experience, a silent vibration that invites active contemplation.
