Charlotte Bressollette is a promising French artist, who puts her favourite mater (chalk pastel) at the service of contemporary art. She has exhibited her work in France and Japan. This works are a continuation of Mark Rothko’s late work, haunted by romantic landscape painting. In tunes with the times, the works give to feel the end of the world ; Charlotte expresses through the sublime the state of stupor, a mixture of fascination and horror in the face of the violent manifestations of nature destroyed by mankind itself.
