Chia-Chen Hsu

Chia-Chen Hsu, an artist who resides in Taiwan, defines herself as a citizen of the world. For over a decade, she has traveled the globe as an international student. Intrigued by her ‘floating identity’, which blurs social, political, and cultural boundaries, Hsu’s surrealist compositions highlight personal aspects of her new hybrid identity, as well as her unique perception of the world. Her most recent series of collages are made with acrylics on canvas.
