« For me, art and its creative process should be a sensual and aesthetic experience, and yet it must not ignore the ambivalence of our existence. »
Chris Bierl is an award-winning photographer and sculptor based in Germany whose works have been exhibited nationally, in Macedonia, Slovenia, the United States, Mongolia, France, and the Netherlands. He describes his art as an exploration of the relationship between humanity and nature, the concept of a soulful world, the proportionality amidst domesticated and wild landscapes, as well as the socio-cultural integration of societies within it.
