Christine Parent

Christine Parent uses watercolor, expressive calligraphy, and various mixed media, after thirty years of studio training with a painter and multiple internships. She juxtaposes these mediums through an abstract and expressive style, constructing her works through superpositions and unforeseen events, where the material becomes a true emotional support. She seeks to transcribe the beauty of the gesture, the intensity of the colors, and the depth of a sensation, offering the viewer a window onto her inner identity, imbued with sensitivity and impulsive energy.
