French painter and draftsman Christophe Laslaud has opened numerous solo exhibitions throughout France. Laslaud employs a wide range of materials, including acrylic, wax, gouache, paper wood and canvas. This variety allows him to work in diverse styles, from figurative to abstract to pointillist. Often working on several paintings at once, Laslaud superimposes layers of color, lines, and dots to create bright, abstract, works that are full of energy and contrast.
