Clyfford Still

Clyfford Still, a vanguard in Abstract Expressionism, wielded oil paints to materialize his visions. His technique, a radical departure from the representational, used thick impastos, jagged forms, and a restrained palette to forge new artistic paths. His canvases pulse with an undercurrent of intensity; they're not just seen but felt, evoking primal forces and the vastness of human experience.
