« Be yourself and beat yourself. »
Coen van Ham is an artist based in the Netherlands whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. He describes his figurative works as being portraits of his subject's inner worlds.
Van Ham is inspired by the emotions that his models exude, as well as their identity. His distinctive abstract expressionist style goes beyond the recognizability of the human form.
